Alessandro’s Ristorante and Galleria now offers a “Silver Meals” value menu for diners 55 years and older from Monday through Friday between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Appetizers will be under $5 and include crab cakes, insalata caprese and calamari. Dinners include salmon, breast of chicken, sirloin steak, veal and linguine with meat sauce, and range in price from $7.95 to $11.95. A soup and salad combination will be $4.95.
All appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages will be reduced by 20 to 40 per cent, according to restaurant owner Roger Yost.
Alessandro’s was accorded first place or top choice honors for best steaks, seafood, Italian, happy hour, wine lists, atmosphere, business lunch, and most creative cocktails among restaurants in the Statesman Journal’s “Best of the Mid-Valley” voting. It was also named the best art gallery.
