Tina Palmer, who now lives in suburban Washington DC, was raised watching her father while he sketched and painted, and knew early on her life would revolve around art.
She began painting while a teen and majored in art history in college.
Tina often paints the rural landscapes of her Dublin (Virginia) childhood
home, using a layered glazing and acrylic mixture on textured canvas to achieve
and old world finish.
Her works combine bold color and contrast to create a dramatic mood, and
they are confidently drawn with an abstract perspective.
Her original work will be found exclusively in Oregon at Alessandro’s Galleria in Historic Downtown Salem.
