Kadam R.

Kadam R. Mishra was born in 1978 in Bhamanpukur, West Bengal, India. He showed an interest in drawing and painting at a young age. Although his life had not been easy, he managed to attend the Calcutta College of Art and received an M.F.A. He won the State of Bengal Academy award in 1997 and went on to Mumbai on the Rajiv Gandhi Scholarship. An extremely talented young artist, his works can be found in NGMA, New Delhi and the IFA Collection, as well as in private collections in several countries.
