Luis Daniel

Luis Daniel is a self-taught artist born in Cajamarca, Peru. As a child, he began drawing flowers and fruit. The shapes and colors of the fruit reminded him of the round, rosy cheeks of the "cherimoyas", the mountain girls from his hometown.

In 1992, he moved to Lima, Peru and began attending artist workshops. He also started participating in exhibitions around the country. His work has been shown in galleries in Bolivia, Columbia, Denmark, and exclusively at Alessandro’s in the Pacific Northwest.
